In this blog I will be talking about the projects and events we have in our class, 80AYY! We have just finished our assignment on the remembrance day diorama. In that project we had to make a whole scene of soldiers fighting with Nazis during a war. We made hills(mountains), forests and a sea. Most of the Nazi people were on the mountain side and some were in the middle and very few were on the other team's side. On the other team, the soldiers were on the side of the river and some were in the middle and very few were in the Nazi's side.

I had a fun experience doing this amazing task. It was mostly fun but it sometimes got complicated, especially when we made the papier mache mountains and when we had to stick the soldiers onto the sand...it was impossible, they just keep slipping off! But at the end our results were great, it turned out to be very amazing! I loved the part where we put on the clay onto the surface to make it look like it is the river. It took a while but it was fun after all. It was also pretty fun putting on the sand and giving it some texture. The part that used up most of our time was when we all painted the soldiers, we had to make sure they looked realistic so we all took a handful each and painted the soldiers, half were wearing black and the other half wore green.

All in all, it was an amazing experience!!
